Drake Park is a proposed, sustainable village of just over 1,000 homes designed to provide beautiful new homes for the Elmbridge community.

The site's circumstances are certainly Very Special.

Drake Park can:

Deliver 512 affordable homes - well over half of Elmbridge Council's housing waiting list

We will also create 512 market homes in three years to meet the urgent need for homes in the borough

Provide

  • A new two Form Entry Primary School with space for expansion
  • A Doctors' Surgery
  • A Dentist
  • A Pharmacy
  • A small supermarket
  • A pub and restaurant

Create a 70 acre park (think 35 football pitches) adjacent to the River Mole for all Elmbridge residents

Facilitate the expansion of Esher High School

Link to public transport - more than 50% of residents are within 10 minutes walk of Hersham Station and sits on three bus routes

We think all this makes Drake Park the perfect place for a new community. We hope you agree.

Our Vision

Drake Park is a proposed new sustainable village community, built on the site of a former quarry, which has locally become known as ‘container city’ due to the shipping containers stored on site over the last decade.

Bonnar Allan is seeking to create 1,024 much needed new homes, including 512 affordable homes, as part of a new community. The new community will be based around all the facilities needed for day-to-day life, including: a primary school, medical facilities, shops and space for sports and leisure activities.

The Drake Park development will also create a 70-acre riverside park, with a five acre fishing lake and over 1,100 new trees.

In the summer of 2014, Bonnar Allan undertook an extensive period of public consultation. As a result of this we have done more research and have adjusted our plans, based on your feedback.

We have now resubmitted our planning application to Elmbridge Borough Council and have updated this website to  outline what the final application involves.

The planning process is likely to take a number of months. During this period we would like you to support the application for Drake Park and the investment it will bring to the area by getting in touch with Elmbridge Council and commenting on the application.
